This is playing into Trump and republicans. Democrats need the house and the senate to hold Trump and republicans accountable. For some reason as we get closer to the midterms they’ve forgotten that. The infighting and divide within the party makes no sense.

Nixon. I'm so disappointed that she won. Vindman had a running chance to defeat a Republican candidate in a ruby red state. Nixon hasn't a ghost of a chance. But I'll eat my hat if I'm wrong. Trump is joyful that Vindman lost. The last thing he wanted was this guy returning to Washington to exact his own retribution against the POTUS. In fact, Trump was celebratory and insulting about Vindman's loss. I suspect that his operatives may have had a hand in it.
Here's the thing. You talk about democratic socialism, and the average American thinks it's the same as communism. And Trump encourages them to think that way. He's already accused Democrats of being communists who want to rip the country apart.
We have to talk to voters about benefits -- better pay, universal health insurance, a government that doesn't reward grifters, no taxes on Social Security, etc. These are the things that matter to voters. When you know what people want, promise it to them. Don't promise "democratic socialism" and then expect that they'll know what it means. If you have to explain it, then you're sending the wrong message.
