I Need to Correct Yesterday’s Update
I said paid subscriptions had stalled. Before the day was over, $162 came in from membership signups.
Yesterday I said the Coffee kept moving and the subscriptions didn’t. Well, that changed before the day was over.
There was $162 from paid membership signups yesterday. I still need to separate the annual signups from the monthly ones before I tell you what that did to the monthly gap. Right now, all I have is the $162.
As of July 29, Coffee has moved another $28 and is now at $371. That leaves $329 of the separate $700 shortage. At the $50-a-day floor, Coffee supporters have covered a little more than seven days.
I need to sincerely thank those people behind both numbers, along with the paid readers who were already carrying XVOA before I ever put a campaign total in a headline. I haven’t forgotten that.
I still have to make the decision by July 30. Without enough dependable paid support, I return to full-time work, and XVOA becomes mainly the Author’s Room and novel updates instead of a regular news desk.
If you read XVOA free and want the news desk to stay, go paid today. It is $8 monthly or $80 annually.
Already paid? You have done your part. The Coffee link is still open for the separate $329 needed to close the gap.
