Pasqual, honestly? I understood why the WHCA held it again after the shooting. Violence should not get the last word, and the reporters who did real work deserved their awards. But what the hell are we defending if you then hand an hour of the night to a president whose administration has sued news organizations, barred reporters and tried to subpoena journalists, and he uses it to insult them and flash a Trump 2028 hat? That stopped looking like a defense of press freedom and started looking like the press confusing access to power with accountability.

She’s a good looking woman. Why don’t you smile more? The fact that he doesn’t know how creepy that sounds speaks volumes. He sounded like a creep. And then going at Dylan mulvaney which was transphobic was just disgusting. Saying Caitlin looks like her. And then saying budlight shouldn’t have done the partnership just speaks ignorance.

I’m amazed and flattered at this offer but I’m going to have to follow my Hemingway informed instincts and presume that this first manuscript will be dogshit. That’s not me speaking that’s the legendary Ernest Hemingway. I think I would be shooting myself in the foot by accepting any offers even after a first manuscript. I may need to tear this current one apart and reassemble it piece by piece.
It can be challenging to tell a story that conveys clear concepts and principles while offering a compelling read to a broad audience. Always a treat to read a publication for the first time, but willing to assist in composing a masterwork.
