I held off on writing this one. Why?
As I told one of my subscribers who reached out to me as I was recovering from the most debilitating pain I ever experienced, “I do not want to freak out my readers.” This was not just a cold or flu. Colds and flus grants its victims escape in the form of sleep. This was the kind of jaw dropping pain that turns you into a prisoner physically and mentally. Oh boy here we go drifting into TMI territory here. Suffice it to say that I discovered the pain relieving properties of ice packs and that combined with a couple of back to back doctors visits have put me down the path to recovery. I feel like I owe my readers somewhat of an explanation. It’s time to start publishing again.
Don’t think for one second I’ve just been sitting next to my crutches staring into space. Ok, I lied. For the most part that’s exactly what I’ve been doing because that’s just about all I could do. Yet, even as I stared into space I thought about you. Yes you reading this. All of you. From the reader who restacked my work far and wide and showed up in the comments or simply left a heart to the reader who felt compelled to support this media operation with funds even though they might’ve been stretched thin.
That was my motivation to determine to come back stronger with tools at my disposal to back it up. If I couldn’t publish in my condition I could work on systems on the backend of this publication to help organize and schedule these pieces as well as processes to surface not just breaking news but news that has either been ignored or suppressed. So at least my sick days weren’t time wasted.
Remember that chat where I floated the idea of an app that would feature suppressed content? I forged ahead with it and I’ve got a working prototype that also will feature 3 minute reads of every posted article in the publication. Maybe I’m being just a little modest by calling it a prototype. I’ve tested and revised it dozens of times to fix bugs and other imperfections. It’s in the Apple Store but I have not made it public yet.
It would be ill advised to pull that trigger until its been beta tested by someone other than myself.. That’s where you come in. If you are a paying subscriber and you want to help contribute by helping shape the design of an app that will become an essential tool in shining the light unto the darkness of the news media space, then express your interest in the comments below.
In the meantime, I’m going to keep testing my backend system by putting it through real world applications. This article is the first test case of whether this is a more efficient workflow.
Normal operations shall resume this week. Trust me I’m eager to get back into the indie media space and try to make sense of a world on edge and falling apart at the seams.
Listen, it’s paid subscriptions that gives me the time to focus my time on creating the systems and yes even apps to get to the bottom of the stories mainstream media ignores and even suppresses. Join this fight and get a paid subscription.
If you cannot for whatever reason commit to a subscription then a one time contribution via Buy Me coffee is much appreciated and will be put to good use exposing deception in mainstream media and exposing the truths they wish to keep buried.

I'm so glad to see you back online. I wondered why I wasn't getting your emails; I'm so glad that you're on the mend. I wish that I could support your app, however, I'm single, retired, on a fixed income & still carrying a mortgage on my home along with all of the other living expenses. I don't use Apple products, will you make an app for Android users in the future??
Video chats and long form reports I prefer to read on my laptop, but the setup seems perfect for initial reports and PSAs.
