From WaPo's editorial: "Truth is that more parents work today than in the past because jobs are better. Especially for women, as gender stereotypes have weakened..."

Both of these statements are debatable. I bet this wasn't written by a woman.

When you list the principled writers that have left the post, please include Ann Telnaes the political cartoonist that Bezos tried to shut-up, and failed.

(And take another look at what Bezos tried to stifle, and restack it please:

Step one: incrementally speed up the treadmill we enter as working adults, so we can barely make it through the day (God forbid we develop a health issue). Step two: rationalize not giving us raises or bonuses (those are only for the CEOs). Continue the extraction process, and if we complain or seek work elsewhere, give us shitty reviews. Rinse/Repeat till we die of exhaustion.

I agree & believe all you have said, but what can be done? Voting in or out seems to truly makes no difference. Have we lost community, lost interest, energy to help our neighbors? Why do we buy F150's or the most expensive cat food or send our kid to Harvard, why can't the lawn be partly planted with lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, do we need another pair of shoes? How can we relax?

I'm gonna go head and restack this here, sir.

Catch you on the rebound. And thank you again for the intro to my fellow SK fan. You have done a thing that can never be repaid, what with your stack and with the excellent sub I was gifted.
