Okay. The Post Is Working.

Eighteen hours later, Buy Me a Coffee is at $95, and XVOA has its first new $8 monthly subscriber in a long time.

I was ready to say $103 had come in. That is how I was counting it in my head. Then I had to stop because those two numbers are doing different things.

The $95 goes against the $700 cash shortage sitting in front of me, so that is down to $605. At the bare $50-a-day floor, readers have already covered almost two days.

Then there is the $8 monthly signup. One. I know that sounds small beside a roughly $2,000 monthly gap, but it is the first new monthly paid subscriber I have gotten in a long, long time. The monthly side is the whole reason I finally wrote the July 30 post.

Thank you to everybody who moved on it this quickly.

I still have to make the decision by July 30. If the monthly number stays where it is, I have to go back to work full time. The regular livestreams, Blackout Briefs and podcasts go away with those hours. XVOA becomes mostly the Author’s Room and novel updates, and I publish news when I can.
